Hello,

What is it called, if I write my bachelor thesis and a professor YX support me and then I submit the thesis to him and he gives me a grade?

Is it

  • to write a bachelor thesis under the supervision of …

  • to write a bachelor thesis under the direction of …

  • to write a bachelor thesis under the mentorship of …

  • to write a bachelor thesis under Professor YX
    or

  • to write a bachelor thesis under the guidance of Professor YX?

They all sound ok to me - I did a little Google search of “I wrote my thesis under the of professor” and to me it looks like the most common phrasings are “under the supervision of Professor YX”, “under Professor YX”, and “under the guidance of Professor YX”.

What about “under the auspices/aegis of professor YX”?
