I know that when you want to listen to a particular station on the radio you say: I tuned in to a station.

what is it for television?

It is possible to use “tune in” for television too.

My final question: Is it “to tune in to a station” for television as well or can you also say: ‘I tuned in to another channel.’? By the way is correct to say: ‘I switched to another channel.’?
