Hi,
How often do you see people use ‘to trail blaze’? In my humble opinion, it should be either ‘to trailblaze’ or ‘to blaze a trail’. What do you think?
Thank you very much.

‘trailblazer’ or ‘trailblazing’ or ‘blaze a trail’
I can’t think of a sentence where ‘trail blaze’ or ‘trailblaze’ would be used.
trailblazer as a noun, trailblazing(ly) as an adjective (adverb), and blaze a trail as a verb.
It’s the same for compounds like bartending, bartender, but the verb is ‘tend bar’
