I would like to know if the verbs to reek and to please are dynamic or stative verbs?

Many verbs are both stative and dynamic, but in this case, I would say REEK is stative, but to PLEASE, in the as a transitive, is not.

No, “reek” is not stative when used in the sense of giving off an alcohol stench. If it were stative, people could not say perfectly correct sentences such as, “When he came home he was reeking of alcohol.”
