Hello:

At the end of the English essay 7, Alan Townwnd wrote down the following:

We didn’t send any ‘Wish you were here’ postcards to a single sole.

I wonder what single sole means:

I hope you can let me know.

He meant ‘to a single soul’, which means ‘to anyone at all’.

He seems to have written ‘to a single soul too’.

I can only presume that some people must have a previous version of this newsletter which Alan later edited.
