Please tell me the difference between “time” and “Timing”.

Hi,

‘Time’ has many meanings and the most common are - describing when something happens as in: The time is now 9.00 am and also: an occasion as in: I remember the time I first went abroad. ‘Timing’ is choosing the right time to do something as in: The actor’s timing was perfect because he knew exactly when to pause and when not to as well as when to react to what other actors were saying within a play.
