It refers to a thing that has already been mentioned.
compare these sentences:
I had a car, it was expensive. (It refers to the car and car isn’t here now)
This pen is red, Could you give me a blue one? (you can point to the pen)
Sorry for being impertinent. Let me give an example.
“You all tried to help me with examples but I didn’t understand it yet”.
So the correct is “it means I’m a dummy” or “this means I’m a dummy”??
