thes/the's (Two "thes" or "the's"?)

One “the”.
Two “thes” or “the’s” ?

I believe it should be “the’s”. Am I correct?

Many thanks.

Hi Koh

If I had to choose, I’d choose the’s. To be honest, though, I’d probably try to avoid having to make the word the plural, and I’d look for some other way to word my sentence.
.

Hi Amy

Could you show me the way, please?

Many thanks.

What’s your sentence, Koh?

For example:

You need to use the word ‘the’ with both nouns.
Or this:
The word ‘the’ has been used twice in this sentence.
.

Thanks, Amy.

So you’ve been with this forum for a long time, judging from the number of your posts.
