Would both options be correct: There’s no need to cry and There’s no need in crying?

“There’s no need to cry” is correct.

“There’s no need in crying” does not sound right to me.

‘There’s no need in crying’ sounds strange to me too. ‘There’s no need for crying’ sounds a little better though.
