To me, the interviewee was smart enough using ‘there you go’ as a reply. If interpreted as ‘that’s the way it is’, it can relate to both statements (1–‘mission impossible’; 2-- ‘Jose Mourinho says’.)
Then follows ‘I haven’t said anything’,
and you’ve gleaned almost nothing from it.
