The word for today is :-MEMORABLE.

Worth being remembered or noted; remarkable.

That is what she was … memorable … My stunning Dutch girlfriend in 1958. I’d met her at a Biergarten Tanz in Germany, and it was love at first sight, well as far as a 19 year olds glands could tell.

She was 26, and a Kindergarten teacher, and I was a lowly RAF Regiment anti-aircraft gunner, but she thought I was the bees-knees, ( and so did I ) all togged-up in my uniform, complete with gaiters and shiny-toed boots.

She took dozens of pictures of me/us for herself and family and friends. It really was a memorable time in my life.

How/why/where did it all go wrong.? I don’t really know, but maybe it had something to do with that other Dutch girl who… I’ll tell that story another time, but it really was
MEMORABLE.

Kitosdad.

The way you explain the word ‘‘MEMORABLE’’ is mesmerizing…I have sunk in deep memories of those ‘Memorable’ days…of my own…!!

Thanks for sharing your Memorable days…

Always a pleasure Sahid.
