the two of you or two of you?

I am wondering if there is any difference between the two of you and two of you!
Could someone explain this to me with examples, please?

‘The two of you’ is specific.

I’d like the two of you to follow me. (There are only two people and he wants them to follow him.)
I’d like two of you to follow me. (There are more than two people and he wants only two of them to follow him.)

The two of you are obviously deeply in love. (There are two people who are in love.)
Two of you are obviously deeply in love. (There are more than two people. Only two of them are obviously deeply in love.
