Is the use of ‘the soonest possible’ correct? (eg. Please the us the documents soon so we can go on with the application procedure the soonest possible). I’ve made some research online and many say it’s incorrect, but somehow I feel I’ve seen it used some times.

Your example sentence is completely incorrect. It doesn’t make sense.
‘the soonest possible’ is not used in the way you are trying to use it.
So you mean it can only be used in a noun phrase? (with a noun after ‘possible’)? For example: “We’ll try to make delivery at the soonest possible time”.
