The level of spiciness of the soup.

  1. The spiciness level of the soup ranges from mild, medium to very spicy.
  2. The level of spiciness of the soup.
3)This winter is not as cold as last year’s.
  3. My friend calculated my lifepath number and it came out to be number 9. ( can I say came out?).
  4. I’ve calculated the books and it came out to be five.

Can I phrase the above sentences like that? Please advise.

  1. The spiciness of the soup ranges from mild to very spicy.
  2. The spiciness of the soup. <-- A fragment rather than a sentence.
3)This winter is not as cold as last year’s. (Usually: this winter is not as cold as last winter.)
  3. My friend calculated my lifepath number and it turned out to be number 9.
  4. I’ve counted the books and there are five. <-- It would not be usual to use ‘calculated’ for such a small number, where only little more than a glance should be enough to tell you how many there are.)
