I’ve come to the realization that the notion that the human race is in charge of what is happening on and to planet earth has been an illusion. It’s very likely that the human species a few generations down the line will vanish into thin air.

Maybe ET type beings! But even then, a stage will come where they may fall into the trap of competing AGAINST one another, only at their eventual destruction and extinction.
