Torsten, why is the Edit facility allowed in respect of topics and answers posted by others?

Hi Lawrence, do you mean the system allows edit other users’ posts?

I think it is only for coaches, right? I use it on occasion to reformat an essay so it is easier to read.

Exactly. Only coaches can edit other users’ posts.

Yes, that is exactly what I mean.
And from your answer to TJ, I understand the position now.
Still, I wonder how we will know what the original was if we make corrections in the post itself.
