Why I can’t choose variant A ? Please, explain me…
The verb conjugation for ‘to rhyme’ is:
I rhyme
you rhyme
he/she/it/ any singular noun (such as the word ‘bang’ here) rhymes
to tell you the truth, I haven’t understood what does “Bang’ rhymes with sang,’ doesn’t it?” mean…
It’s a strange choice of stand-alone question, but it is apparently meant to be a conversation between two people, as that would be the only purpose for the question tag. The question tag ‘doesn’t it?’ which seeks confirmation of the fact can actually be ignored. The phrase in question is simply this:
‘Bang’ rhymes with ‘sang’.
The word ‘bang’ rhymes with the word ‘sang’.
Both words:
‘bang’
‘sang’
end with the same sound ‘-ang’.
This means that they rhyme.
