Television, newspapers, magazines, and other media pay too much attention

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Television, newspapers, magazines, and other media pay too much attention to the personal lives of famous people such as public figures and celebrities. Use specific reasons and details to explain your opinion.

I agree that media pays too much attention to the personal lives of famous people. This attention influences the celebrities like obliging them to look good, leaving them without personal time, but it also replaces the more important news.
Every human has secrets. Unfortunately, famous people can hold only a very little part of their lives a secret. This is because paparazzos are chasing the celebrities everywhere they go. Media violates the stars privacy by taking pictures in their homes, while they are shopping, and in their everyday tasks.
Moreover, because of the constant interest for celebrities media obliges them to look good all the time. In other words, an actress who is going to the supermarket should put on make-up, because otherwise the newspapers and television show will say that she is ill. This is not compulsory for an ordinary woman though.
Finally, covering reportage for a new musician sometimes replaces the important news like a strike in the bread producer’s factory. In this way, more important news is overshadowing very important stories for people who are experiencing tragedies.
As seen above, attention to the personal lives of famous people can be very bad. It has an effect on their own lives and on the others, too.
