Take the up/down escalator?

Well, here I go again…
I am looking for vocabulary that is suitable for malls stuff. So, I would like you guys to help me in this thing and suggest, please, some webs in order to fill me in (Things like how to give directions and stores you find in a mall would be cool).
However, I am not sure about saying “please take the up/down escalator to sixth floor”, is it correct?.. how should I say it?

–Thanks in advance–

Wooow…it seems nobody has read my message. Please, I need answers urgent!!

 I am waiting!!

Hello Serzige…

Here are some phrases:

  • Take the escalator to the sixth floor. (Here you don’t have to say up or down as they will know whether to go up or down depending which floor they are on at this particular time. However you can include it if you want… But up/down will not come before escalator. so “take the up escalator to the sixth floor” doesn’t sound natural to me (but, i could be wrong)… It would go more like “please take the escalator up to the sixth floor”

  • Go up the escalator to the 2nd floor. (In this case we used “go”, so you can put “up” before the word escalator - as “go up” is used together.

  • Once you turn the corner it’s the second store on the left.

  • Take the elevator to the 3rd floor. Once you come out of the elevator just walk straight and you will see the store on your right.

  • Go right at the next corner, keep walking straight and you will see the store on the right. It’s next to the big supermarket.

I hope this helped…

are these enough examples?
