Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Student are most influenced by their teachers than by their friends.
Some people are inclined towards the attitude that teachers have much more effect on student’s lives than student’s friends, whereas others hold the opposite perspective. I personally, though, believe that students are affected by their friends more and more often than by their teachers in that not only do they spend most their time with their friends, but also they have many similar points with their friends.
The first reason that should be taken into consideration is that students spend more their time with their friend than their teachers. Not only do students hang out with their friend during the class hours, but also they are with each other after the class time, whereas, they expend their time with their teachers only the class session on some days of week. To elaborate on my point further, take the case of a girl studying in high school. She has a boyfriend that is along with her almost time. They sit near together during the class time. In addition, after the class hours, they either study, or spend their free time and unwind together. For example, they go to a gym and do their favorite sports, take a trip, or take part in a party. In the other hand, she visits her teachers only several hours at school. When she wants to buy a dress, she prefers a dress that her boyfriend like rather than her teacher. Consequently, her boyfriend has more influence that her teacher.
Apart from the points made above, no one can overlook the fact that students and their friends have similar manners in their lives. They are the same age and possess similar favorite things. The entertainments that they apply to amuse themselves are same. Furthermore, the most problems created for people is related to their age. As a result, students and their friends have same difficulties and they assist each other in solving their problems. To illustrate further, consider a boy who has a number of problems to study for his exam. His friend also has been had this problem to prepare for her exam and teaches him her solution. Hence, the boy can solve his problem and get a good grade. In contrast, his teacher could not give suitable advice to him because the teacher’s solution was hard to student to apply it since he did not have enough time to exert the teacher’s solution. Therefore, as his friend can support him more that his teacher, the boy will consult with his friend in other problems in future.
To put it in a nutshell, I am of the opinion that students take the most influence from their friends. This is because they expend a large time with each other, and they have same difficulties and interests.
Hi Samiraslh, not too bad, but I think there is some room for improvement. See much suggestions on your introduction. I really liked your first example - your second example is also relevant and effective, but it could be a bit better I think - see below. Your writing is clear, but you do have some missing words and a few awkward sounding phrases. Overall, I would rate this a 3.5 out of 5.
