Then could you explain why in previous test we used “stride” describing how a woman was moving being proud of him/hirself?

I think we may have to wait for an explanation from Daniela here.

However, in my opinion stride fits the sense of the sentence better than stalk.

I think both strode and stalked work here.

Hi,

‘Stalk’ has very much the sense of following someone in a secretive way. This meaning doesn’t fit with the adverb ‘proudly’ used in the test sentence.
