"Stay to" or "stay for"

Which one is correct?

1- Would you stay-----------lunch?( to-for)

Personally, I’d only say “Would you (like to) stay for lunch.”

I’d be more tempted to use the word to with a verb such as “come”.

But this may be one of those BE vs. AmE things…
