‘Speak with’ is more formal than ‘Talk to’.

Same difference - it’s ‘speak’ that makes it more formal for me.

So the answer options should be changed since ‘speak with’ as well as ‘talk with’ would be possible?

I think speak with is not only more formal and but more polite as well. Talk sounds like an ordinary word.
