As far as I know, there are many famous athletes and entertainers earn millions of dollars every year. Although some people believe this payment is not fair, I believe those athletes and entertainers deserve to receive high salaries. My reasons will be listed below.
First and foremost, the athlete and entertainer got talents that normal people cannot have. To illustrate this point, I would like you to consider a famous pop star, Michael Jackson. It may be impossible for many future generations to find out a person who is as talented as Jackson. He got an outstanding ability to dance and sing, and I believe, he deserved to receive high salary. Others singers or musicians hold their unique talents and abilities such as their voice, dancing, composing, and so on, that make them deserve to receive good amount of money.
Secondly, athletes and entertainers play a very important role in the society, in which they improve people emotional life, and make this world less monotonous. Singers and musicians, whose work is filled with emotions and music, make people release from their stressful lives, and daily workload. So does the athlete whose work is related to showing skills and physical abilities to provoke spectators’ enthusiasm.
Last but not least, in order to contribute to the society nice concerts and incredible competitions, entertainers and athletes need money to prepare, and improve their skills. Singers need money to prepare their hair styles, new clothes, and so on. Athletes need money to pay for their training courses. They also need to work very hard, take part in constant performances, and so they need money to pay for medical treatment, keeping them in good health condition.
To put all in a nutshell, there is no doubt in my mind that athletes and entertainers deserve to receive large amount of money. Those athletes and entertainers got unique talents, and their contribution to the society is very valuable.
