I am not clear why “sizing” used in the sentence above. How about “size”?

Do you know what “W/L” means? (I assume there should be a space between that and “sizing”.)

W/L is the ratio/rate between “Lengh” and “Width” of MOSFET channel.
Possibly “sizing” is supposed to give more of a sense of the action of calculating/determining the size. It is not terribly clear to me.
