I would use choice A ‘silverware’, at least in AmE.
Perhaps one of our BrE speakers will chime in, but I don’t think ‘flatware’ is widely used in BrE either.
I believe BrE speakers tend to use ‘cutlery’ where an AmE speaker would use ‘silverware’, but we’d best get that verified by somebody who speaks BrE.
