Should euthanasia be legalized?

hi kito, this is my next essay. I am looking for your comment.

Euthanasia, which is defined as the practice of ending a life without serious pain and suffering, is the leading controversial discussion in recent years. Some people feel that this practice seem to be the fundamental privilege of human being, but others do not. I am of the opinion that we should not make euthanasia legal for several reasons as follow.

A reason why euthanasia should not be legalized is that related to ethical issues. Doctors’ obligation is to try their best to help patients recover from illness instead of offering the manner to kill patients. If they conduct euthanasia, doctors not only lose others’ respect because of incomplete mission curing people even they can get sentenced, but also feel so guilty about patients’ death. According to the survey conducted by The Washington Post, more than two third of doctors fulfilling euthanasia was profoundly regretful about their action. Furthermore, when involuntary euthanasia, performing on a patient against their will, is acceptable, it can be associated with many kinds of other serious crimes such as assassination.

Another reason why we should not make euthanasia legal is that related to healthcare issues. The widespread explosion of euthanasia will enable scientists to less improve palliative care, which refer to the manner to take care of terminally ill people in term of their mental and physical health. In fact, many people who are infected with untreated diseases have inadvertently recovered from an illness by choosing palliative care to maintain their lives. It is greatly difficult for scientists to explain completely these phenomena so far. For instance, LifeCare Center in US offers a number of practices to help terminal patients to have peaceful and comfortable time in their ending life with their family and friends. Astonishingly, some of those having positive attitude toward life get better after being cared by this center, even they have absolutely overcame an illness. Moreover, it is cheaper to conduct euthanasia than to use any healthcare method. Consequently, this is likely to prevent the progress of medical technology to discover how to cure untreated illness.

Opponents of this position argue that everyone has a right to die when feeling that they are a worthless burden on society and their family. However, this feeling is truly due to pressure of some, not everyone. They have to be wise enough to realize that there are many so sweet people concern about them, especially their family. As much as they cannot do anything for their family, they have been always moral support for others member. Moreover, almost all religion around the world have regarded it as that human life is sacred because it is a gift of God so only God can decide when to terminate one’s life. Therefore, accepting euthanasia goes against the will of God.

In summary, a number of religious, healthcare, and ethical issues revealed seemingly object to the legalization of euthanasia. Personally, I think terminally ill patients should enjoy their last time with family and friends rather than choose to end life early. Spending time on valuable businesses is more worth than thinking of the death.

Hello Lemin. I think your work is OK, but you need to organise it more carefully.
You skip from opinion to opinion instead of writing one opinion to its conclusion before starting another.

Kitos. 7.5/10

you mean I have to add conclusion for each paragraph ?
Your comment help me a lot. Thank you!

I saw your points, and I try to rewrite my paragraph 2 & 3 (the last sentence). Is there any problems about this?
