    ‘sew’ is pronounced like ‘sow’.
In British English ‘sewing machine’ is pronounced like ‘sewing machine’ while
in American English it is pronounced as ‘sowing machine’.
    Am I correct?

‘sew’ is pronounced to rhyme with ‘owe’.
‘Sow’ is pronounced to rhyme with ‘cow’.
In ‘sewing machine’ the ‘sewing’ part rhymes with ‘owing’ in AmE AND in BrE.

Incidentally this is another example where you might use an online dictionary to help you. You really ought to note the link and use it yourself more often than you do.
