Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

[color=darkblue]1. Would the sentence mean different if I removed this article? ( I know I can use ‘mean the same’ here, but I want to know if this version is possible)

  1. I look up to him for the business success she achieved besides not being from this country.

  2. You know me; I wouldn’t have minded staying up all night, as it was an important task.

My suggestions:

  1. Would the sentence mean different (MEAN SOMETHING DIFFERENT/HAVE A DIFFERENT MEANING) if I removed this article? ( I know I can use ‘mean the same’ here, but I want to know if this version is possible)

  2. I look up to him (HER) for (BECAUSE OF THE) the business success she achieved besides not being from this country (QUITE APART FOM HER BEING FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY).

  3. You know me. I wouldn’t have minded staying up all night, as it was an important task. (HAVE MADE THIS 2 SENTENCES)
