Sentence: Love my java in the morning

Hi!

I ran into this sentence in my listening excercise and I didn’t understand it. Could you please help me?

W: Do you like coffee?
M: Sure do! LOVE MY JAVA IN THE MORNING!

Thank you in advance.

Java is a sort of coffee

Hope this helps.

Ah, it’s so interesting !!
Thank you very much, Lost soul !!!

More broadly, “java” (at least in the US) has simply become a synonym for coffee.
“A cup of joe” is also a cup of coffee. No idea where that came from.

Ah, nice ! A cup of joe = a cup of java = a cup of coffee !
Thank you very much.

Also, sometimes just referred to as a ‘cuppa’.

“Let’s grab a cuppa.”

Americans refer to very strong coffee as “rocket fuel”.
