What should I do with the sentence below?
The American students arrive in Heathrow next week. I’m sure (the?) said students will enjoy their stay in London.
I’ve come across both variants being used. What do you say?
I’d include the article in that particular context, but there are other contexts which might use the phrase where it would seem acceptable to me whether or not the article was used.
