'S Thing! (SUPPLIER's scope of work vs SUPPLIERS' scope of work)

Dear All,

I am trying to figure out what is the correct syntax I am supposed to use in the following cases:

a) SUPPLIER’s scope of work (for only one supplier)

b) SUPPLIERS’ scope of work (for two suppliers)

or

SUPPLIERS’S scope of work (which I doubt)

:?: :?: :?:

Actually, I do not feel at ease with this “'s” thing so if there is anyone that can clarify what should be used and when…

Thanks a lot!

Pierre-Louis

Hi Pierre-Louis,

Welcome to the forum. Both your phrases (a and b) are correct. As you suggested, the last one (suppliers’s) wouldn’t work.

Merci for asking this interesting question,
