They are really the same in meaning. The use of ‘around’ emphasises the great extent of the use of English a little more than ‘round’.

may you do me a favor and explain it ? It seems to some extend strange to me.
What I meant was that ‘around’ emphasises how far the language has spread. The idea is that ‘around’ means ‘all the way round’ and in that sense is probably a bit stronger than ‘round’ but this is only a very fine distinction.
