Reporting "dislike" from a third person

Hi there;),

How could I better explain what is stated from the following sentences? no idea if they are correct!

a) "The woman is clearly against the proposal "

b) The woman completely disagrees with the proposal
c) the woman shows dislike to the proposal

any suggestion?

Many thanks!

Alex

Hi,

You wrote:

(a) suggests that she obviously opposed the proposal

(b) suggests she has a totally different view of the proposal and is not at all in agreement with it.

(c) this needs to be written as: The woman shows dislike for the proposal but this could be more simply expressed as: The woman dislikes the proposal.
