Is this a phone call or a face-to-face conversation?

I’d guess it’s in person.

I have never heard of registering by phone in the US. It was always in person or possibly by mail. I don’t know how it’s done in other countries. Those videos are too old to do it online.

Based on the text alone, one cannot definitively ascertain whether these conversations transpired via telephone or face-to-face. The dialogue is utterly devoid of any telltale signs to hint at either scenario. Nevertheless, considering the archaic methods of registering for classes, particularly in the United States, one might reasonably deduce that it leans toward the charmingly outdated in-person interaction—so quaint, isn’t it? Of course, this remains an educated guess rather than an unassailable truth, as definitive evidence is, alas, absent.

I wholeheartedly agree—you don’t have to be a U.S. citizen to pick up on this. The charm of such a conclusion transcends national boundaries!

Especially amusing when one considers that this Americans seems to possess little to no awareness of his own country’s history. The irony is, frankly, delicious.

Registration can also be done online or on the phone. Your personal details will be collected by the correspondent, but you will need to pay the fee immediately. Only then will the registration be confirmed!
