Which is the correct verb?

I’ve added a few words to describe two possible situations.

Yes, I realize I’ve taken the wrong bus, but I’m going to stay on it to see where it goes.

Or

Ten minutes into my trip, I realized I had taken the wrong bus.

It is REALISE.
I realise that I have taken the wrong bus.
I agree with @Arinker and say: I realised that I had taken the wrong bus.

I just realized that I translated from BrE (realise) to AmE (realize).
I only now noticed the difference.
