Dear friend,
I could not understand what you are saying in this sentences?

Mind (THOUGHTS)
1 the part of a person that enables a person to think, feel emotions and be aware of things:
Her mind was full of what had happened the night before, and she just wasn’t concentrating…
Of course I’m telling the truth - you’ve got such a suspicious mind!
I just said the first thing that came into my mind.
I’m not quite clear in my mind about what I’m doing.

2 a very clever person:
She was one of the most brilliant minds of the last century.

-minded

having a particular character, interest or way of thinking about things:
She’s very strong/independent-minded (= She has a very strong/independent character).
I don’t imagine that he’s very politically-minded (= interested in politics).

He must be out of his mind to have spent that much money on an old car!
Be not in your right mind
To be not thinking clearly or to be mentally ill:
My poor old granny isn’t in her right mind half the time.

Thank you Shafqat for your epxplanations. It’s really interesting information about the meaning of this word “mind”. I just wanted to practise in question creation when I wrote this one (could anybody tell me if I right in grammar of this sentence or may be I had to use perfect tense). I see this question like a rhitorical one I mean the question which doesn’t need an answer. For example combination of couple sentences: “I’m always up in the clouds. Where is my mind?! I should be more attentive”

With best regards.

Dear Romashka,

I’m not quite clear in my mind about what you are saying? however torsten will guide us regarding this sentences
Thanks for your appreciation

Just like a poet. Poets usually lose their minds in the clouds. They look for the inspiration there. And during looking for it, they usually are not attentive very much.

Best wishes for weekend for all :).
