Question on usage of 'present tense'

Can I use simple present to suggest a future action?

For example, are the following sentences ok?

  1. I am at your place in a few minutes
  2. You are here for another hour?

Please help.

Hi,

You would have to say: I’ll be at your place in a few minutes

In the second sentence I would change the word order:

Are you here for another hour?

Alan
