Question on Phrasal verb / Look

Hi Guys,

Just a quick question…
Which one of these four combinations are correct and why? Or is there any difference between them…

  1. “I am looking forward to hearing from you at the earliest.”
  2. “I look forward to hear from you at the earliest.”
  3. “I look forward to hearing from you at the earliest.”
  4. “I am looking forward to hear from you at the earliest.”

I went through the lessons but did not get my answer.f
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
Naveen
