[color=red]Many students have to live with roommates while going to school or university. What are some important qualities of a good roommate? Use specific reasons and examples to explain why these qualities are important.

For each of us who might have to live with one or roommates when attend university, having good roommates is very important. Because they are the closest people with our and influence directly not only our daily life, also our studying. There are various qualities that a good roommate should have and in my view, the most two important ones are respectful, helpful, and friendly.

Firstly, a roommate should respect other people in his room. For people who live together in a quite small room, respecting tastes and habits of the others will help everyone in a room feel comfortable. For example, if a person like quiet when he is studying, his roommate who like listening to loud music should respect the other’s attitude and play loud music just in the headphones. In addition, respecting poverties of each other is very essential too. Because nobody feel comfortable when someone use their belongings without asking him and no one want to see his shared items is broken by the others.

Secondly, being helpful is also a necessary characteristic of a good roommate. Almost all students who live in university or school hostels live far from their home. So, when they are ill or injured, they cannot rely on their relatives or parents. Under this circumstances, the role of a roommate becomes very important. They will be a person that care for you or drive you to the hospital.

Last but not least, a good roommate cannot be unfriendly. A friendly roommate will be a person always smile when meet you in your room after a tense day, a person share with you everything and listen everything from you, and the most important, it is he that helps you forget the homesickness.

In conclusion, each one have different standards to choose a good roommate such as friendly, sympathetic, frankly but for me, the more important ones that a good roommate should have are respectful, helpful and friendly.

A big part of your score from this section comes from word count, so if you can include some personal details, it will really help boost your score. Your writing is very clear, but once again you have quite a few minor errors in subject/verb matching and some other sentence structure issues. You are very close to the 4 level, but not quite there yet I think.
