put everything back in perspective

Hello everyone

I’d like to ask about the meaning of “put everything back in perspective” in the following context:

On the seventh day of our retreat I received an unusual e-mail.
It was from my daughter who lives in Southern California and works
as an elementary school teacher. While she was skeptical about the
subject of Spirit emanation imaging I had been so fascinated with for
the past couple of years, she sent me a few photos she had just taken
at a school theater performance. The photos exhibited several high-contrast
light beings around the children. “Check this out—pretty
amazing!” was her comment.
This simple message put everything back in perspective: yes,
even though there are some misguided dark spirits that every so
often try to grab our attention, we are indeed surrounded by a cloud
of highly evolved Spirit beings that are there to help us, to inspire
us, to lead us on our path through the myriad challenges presented
to us every day of our lives in this physical reality.

Does “put everything back in perspective” mean “to put things back in order”, to put things (i.e. thoughts, ideas) back in their respective places?

This is the meaning of “put into perspective”:

So if you have a situation where things suddenly become inaccurately or unfairly compared, we can say that things are out of perspective.

Thank you very much, Molly.

You’re welcome.
