Proper Time for taking GRE to join in fall 2007

Hi,
I want to join for Fall 2007. What is the proper time to appear GRE for that. Please help.
Is it October a good time?

Yea, I think October is a good time to take GRE. Last date for applying in some schools is around December, so you should have plenty of time.
