Pronunciation of the word "then"

I am trying to transcribe the short talk in the link below. However, I have a problem hearing the word “then” in the sentence “Then the subway ride is another twenty minutes”.

Could you comment about the pronunciation of the word? Also, can you hear it easily?

It sounds 0K to me, though the speaker’s accent does affect the ‘e’ sound slightly.
