Present or future

Hello of all of esteemed teachers
Hope you all doing good, I have some lines down kindly help

If you did not remind me of Ann’s birthday I would forget
Is this for present, future

If you had not reminded me of Ann’s birthday I would have forgot

Is this more approprait one

I think “If you had not reminded me of Ann’s birthday I would have forgot it” is better, you could also say “If you had not reminded me of Ann’s birthday, I would forget it”.
“If you did not remind me of Ann’s birthday I would forget” doesn’t seem right.

I just have received the message from the above link that the following sentence is correct.
#If you took more exercise you would feel better.
If it is then I think the following sentence should also be correct.
#If you didn’t take more exercise you would feel bad.
if it is then what is the problem with the following sentence—
#If you did not remind me of Ann’s birthday I would forget.

  1. No. It should be:
If you had not reminded me of Ann’s birthday, I would have forgotten it.

  2. I think it is acceptable.
