Could you listen to this talk and comment about the pronunciation of the woman about the word “plenty”?
Plenty food and drink will be provided for everyone.
Is the word “plenty” pronounced carefully here?
To me, the “p” sound is not really clear.
If you listen carefully she says:
Plenty of food and drink… and although the ‘of’ is unstressed (as it naturally would be) and so could easily be missed by a non-native English speaker, the ‘p’ is clear enough.
