All four sentences can be used.

Hi,

With some verbs+prepositions it’s possible to use the two parts together and sometimes it’s possible to split them. ‘Pick up’ is one of these and so you can pick something up and pick up something. In that case the two words ( pick and up) keep their first meaning.

In you second question there are examples of the two types of present tense - Are you taking? refers to what you are doing now/today/this week. Do you take? refers to what you generally/usually do.
