Please help me to explain structure going with "believe". Many thanks

  1. We all believe that the survival girl be better then.

Why we have to be in this sentence. Please explain for me.

Quite frankly, the sentence doesn’t make any sense to me. Where did you find it?

Also:

Should read:

Why the author of this sentence used ‘be’? Can you please explain it to me?

I came across this sentence in an English book written by a Vietnamese author. I did’t know what it should be, so I asked for helps. Could you help me rewrite this to make it meaningful,

Many thanks!

The question is why you would use books that contain sentences that don’t make any sense. I can only guess what the author wants to say. Here is just one of many possible interpretations:

We all believe that the girl will have a better chance to survive then.

Perhaps the use of ‘then’ requires the tense to change - would have had a better chance of survival then.

Why not this way, supposing then refers to a specific time known only to the speaker and the listener? We all believe that the surviving girl will be better then.
(I have modified one word and added another)

I think ‘then’ can also refer to a certain condition that is met rather than a specific time as in:

I hope you’ll find your peace of mind as it will be better then for me too.
