Use ‘I got tied up with homework’ if there is no other indication in your conversation about what specific piece of homework you are talking about.
Use ‘I got tied up with the homework’ if it is clear that you are speaking about a specific piece of homework.
This applies whether or not you address someone by name.

The idea is that it is a binding promise. It’s usually only children and young people who do this. It’s not just a girl thing and not everyone does it.
I guess it’s a childlike and less drastic version of a ‘blood oath’ whereby two people cut their skin and mix their blood as a symbol that they are ‘as one’.

Bunch of thanks for answering and I’m also grateful to you.

If we’re asking question then I think it’d be like this :- What does hold people back?
Is that correct?

A Humble Request to You (Beeesneees) :- Please use a good photo, your current photo scares a lot that’s why I always hesitate to ask questions from you. My Request :-

Your Answer :-

My Reply :- If you don’t care about others (not even their request) then I’m afraid I’d have to say please do not answer my questions (in near future) so that at least I don’t have to get scared by looking at your profile photo any more.

I know you answered my questions couple of times and I’m thankful and it’s my loss that I’m loosing you but I can’t make do with your profile photo and also sometimes you don’t answer properly which is hard to understand so I have to ask again and again.

Even then I’m grateful to you and thank you so much for answering so far.

I won’t remember NOT to answer your questions, so you’ll just have to ignore them. It’s only an image, for goodness sake.

As for ‘not answering properly’ have you considered that perhaps you aren’t asking properly?
