Please carry these exercise books for me

If a teacher wants his pupil to carry all the exercise books, what would be the native speaker’s request?

Should the native speaker ask, “Please carry these exercise books for me”?

Thanks.

Would you please carry these exercise books for me? sounds better and more polite to me.
(It is from teachers that students learn how to make polite requests like this)

I would suggest it is a request and implies a shared task.

Thanks, Alan.

Then it is no different from the request: “Please help me carry these exercise books.”

I thought the verb “help” made a difference.
