please and Kindly

Hi,

Does these 2 words ‘please and Kindly’ has same meaning?
Could you please tell me when and where it should be used in the sentence?

Regards,
William

From what I picked up in the dictionaries, ‘please’ used just as a polite addition to requests, commands: Please tell me! Please do it for me. ……

‘Kindly’ (= if you’d be so kind) sounds as if you put a barrier of formality between yourself and the person you’re speaking to: Will you kindly behave yourself? Will you kindly do as you’re told? Kindly mind your own business. Kindly refrain from smoking. Will you kindly stop shouting at me? Kindly wait a moment.
(notes of impatience you could hear there now marked as a rather old-fashioned use).

You said it, Eugene.

Thank you
